Reservation
Information
Do I Need A Reservation

You don’t need one, but we highly suggest it because it makes our lives a lot easier!

How Do I Make A Reservation?

We have a handy-dandy online tool for reservations. Just use the simple calendar function to choose your date/time and the system will walk you through the rest.

Schedule Online Here
When Do I Need To Make My Reservation?

The Gym is first come first serve so if there is a day and time you really want, we recommend scheduling several weeks in advance. Weekends are pretty busy and fill up fast, so keep that in mind when planning your night out. You can occasionally find an open slot on the same day but we recommend booking a reservation at least a couple days in advance or more if you have a large group.

If you don’t see your time available, you can still contact us directly and we will see if there’s something we can do for you!

Is There A Minimum Group Size?

The Gym has no minimum group size and our goal is for your group to have your own private throwing lane whenever possible. Whether you’re a group of 2, or renting out our entire facility with 109 of your closest friends, we have you covered.

What If We Have More People Than We Reserved For?

The more the merrier! Additional throwers can pay at The Gym but we generally recommend no more than 6 people per lane. With more than 6 on a lane, you may not get to throw as much as you like.

What If We're A Bit Late?

We usually ask that you and your guests arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation, but if you can’t make it until your reservations begins, your lane time could be cut short if the schedule is too packed that day.

Can I Rent Out The Whole Gym?

Heck yeah – now we’re talkin’! Give us a call or email us for available reservation times, packaged pricing and any other special requests your group may have. Our event coordinator be on standby to make sure your party goes perfectly!

Walk-In
Information
Do You Accept Walk-Ins?

Absolutely! While there may not be availability to play during our busy hours, you can book a later time when you get here & get your drink on in the meantime. We don’t often have cancellations but if we do, you’ll be throwing quicker.

To guarantee availability, definitely reserve your Throw Social™ experience online! When we do have walk-in space, reservations start at fixed times, so you may have to wait until the next available start time – kind of like walking into the movies. 🙂

If we see that spaces are available, your best bet is to just reserve the spots!

Cancellations
What If We Need To Cancel?

We get it. Life happens! We just ask that give us a 48-hour heads up and we’ll be happy to reschedule you for a better time. We are also able to offer a gift certificate in the amount of your reservation for later.

No refund or gift card will be issued if you no show/no call for your reservation.

Safety
Is Axe Throwing Safe?

Yes! Axe throwing is safe – as long as you follow the proper techniques and safety protocols. At The Gym, we’re big into having a good time and so the last thing we’d want to do is cut the party short because someone was acting a fool in one of the lanes! Each lane is secured with proper spacing and protective screens. A coordinator will be on-hand to help give you a quick training session before you head into an axe throwing lane.

Can Someone Show Us How To Throw Axes?

Yep! A trusted team member will give you the 10-15 minute rundown once you get here so you can remain safe and be lil’ more effective with your throws.

Is There A Dress Code?

Things are pretty “come as you are” around here, but if you’re throwing an axe, you have to wear closed-toe shoes. Either leave the stilettos at home or bring a spare pair of shoes to make sure you don’t twist an ankle!

What About That Liability Waiver?

If you’re hanging out in the axe throwing portion of The Gym, you have to sign the liability waiver to enter the facility – even if you’re not throwing. We don’t make (some of) the rules, but we have to follow them! We’ll never share your personal info or send you marketing messages if you opt out.

These waivers are all digital, so you can easily knock them out before you arrive!

League
Nights
How Much Does It Cost?

$15 per league night (8 total). $125 per thrower (prepaid, plus tax)

Are There Singles Games Or Just Team Competitions?

At this time, leagues are played as two-person, co-ed teams in round robin style fashion. Each week, we have an additional mini-series tournament of a weekly rotating skills game.

Are There Prizes?

What good is winning if you can’t brag about it later? League champs get their own axe throwing trophy to lord over their friends and family until next time!

Can I Join If I'm A Beginner?

Yes! This is a friendly competition, where the community can come together and experience the art of axe throwing together. No previous experience necessary! We will, however, try to pair the more competitive and experienced folks with people of the same skill level.

Can I Bring My Own Axe?

ONLY on specific league nights! But we’ll inspect that bad boy before the games begin.

What If I Miss One Of The Eight Nights?

I something happens and you miss a night, then you will need to make up your throws before the start of the next week. If you can’t make do that, then your score for the day you missed will be marked as zero.
